Designed to help anglers gain a far clearer understanding of what's happening beneath the surface, Grapple Leads are an invaluable tool for accurately mapping out the lakebed. The unique pronged design allows you to detect features and bottom conditions that would often go unnoticed when using a standard smooth lead.

Before casting, simply lock the four prongs into the upright position and use the lead as you normally would when feeling for the drop. As you slowly retrieve the lead, the prongs gather samples from the lakebed, including weed, silt, detritus and natural food sources such as bloodworm. This gives you a much clearer picture of the bottom composition and helps identify productive areas to fish.

Should the lead become snagged in heavy weed, rocks or mussel beds, steady pressure will cause the prongs to release, allowing the lead to be retrieved without issue.
