Nash Abbreviated Scope Rods New for 2025
Nash Scope Abbreviated Rods – New for 2025
The iconic Scope range just got even better. For 2025, Nash has made that unbeatable compact performance more accessible than ever – whether you're stalking margins, casting to the horizon, or packing light for a few hours after work. These new rods deliver everything you’d expect from Scope – with fresh updates, more choice, and a price that’s hard to ignore.
Built on strong and responsive 24-tonne low resin carbon blanks, they’re designed with a helical weave for extra backbone. That means less twist, faster recovery, and more punch in the cast – perfect for fishing tight spots or hitting long distances with pinpoint accuracy.
Three handle styles to choose from – classic abbreviated shrink, full black duplon, or traditional AAA-grade cork – so whatever your preference, there’s a Scope to suit you. The rings are Seaguide TDG Minima style as standard, keeping things light and responsive. For those who fish snaggy venues or use heavy braids, the 3.5lb Ceramic Guide (CG) models in 9ft and 10ft come with beefed-up ceramic guides to handle the pressure.
For the bigger jobs, there’s now 3.75lb and 4lb test curve options – perfect for hauling leads, spodding, or tackling extreme venues where only the toughest gear will do. There’s even a heavy-duty 6ft 3.5lb version ideal for those tucked-away swims and big hit-and-hold battles.
