Mainline Match Rounded Wafters
Mainline Match Rounded Wafters are carefully balanced hookbaits designed for feeder fishing, giving you a lightweight presentation that can help produce more positive hook-ups.
Their critically balanced buoyancy is designed to work particularly well with a Guru QM1 hook, or another hook of a similar weight. Once mounted, the wafter helps counterbalance the weight of the hook, allowing it to sit naturally while remaining light enough to be easily taken in by a feeding fish.
This can be particularly effective with wary fish that suck at a bait from a short distance away, where a lighter hookbait can make the whole presentation easier for them to pick up.
The rounded shape makes them suitable for a wide range of modern match and coarse fishing tactics, including Method Feeder, Hybrid Feeder and Pellet Feeder presentations. They can be fished using either a traditional Hair Rig or a Bayonet depending on your preferred set-up.
