Shimano created a massive stir when they bought out the Ultegra XTD Big pit range a couple of years ago. Now they've done it again, with the Ultegra XTD Spod Reel. This spod reel has been designed specifically for using as a spod or marker reel and it will pair up perfectly with the Ultegra XTD 14000 Big Pit Carp Reel with similar features.
The difference's are that Shimano have used a shallower spool to lessen the line capacity when using braided lines. Also the spools have three line clips instead of just the one on the standard reels. The designers have added a larger egg shaped handle, for better grip when you are constantly cranking your spod, spombs or marker floats back in. To aid that they have increased the gear reatio to 5,2:1 instead of 4.3:1 on the standard reels. This means every time you turn the handle of the spod reel, you retrieve, 124cm of line as to 103cm on the 14000 XTD reel. Making this not only one of the nicest spod reels on the market but the best value for money spod reel out there.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
We are more than happy to exchange any unwanted items, provided they are returned unused, in perfect condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Postage refunds will not be issued in such circumstances.
If we have made an error with your order, we will rectify it as soon as possible and cover the cost of any postage.

If an item has been damaged in transit we will replace it as quickly as we can. If an item has broken in normal use and it is within its warranty period, it must be returned to us along with a short note consisting of your name, address, a contact telephone number and an explanation outlining the circumstances of the damage.
Generally, items must be inspected by a manufacturer's representative before any replacements can be issued.
The goods in question need to be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Under these circumstances the return postage will be met by the customer.

If there is found to be a manufacturing fault any postage costs incurred by the customer will also be refunded.
