Featuring a unique retractable butt section, 9ft and 10ft Scope rods pack down to a miniature 44 inches and 50 inches – fitting in the boot of a car. Yet Kevin’s discovery is that reducing rod length produces tools that are unexpectedly superior in almost every way.

Easier to use in confined swims, offering absolute casting accuracy and providing improved contact with battling carp Scope rods have no limits. Casting distances over 170 yards have been recorded with 9ft Scopes.

Expanded by popular demand into both heavier and lighter test curves the Scope concept has influenced every avenue of specialist fishing – from spodding to marker work, to lure fishing, drop shotting, even boat fishing.

With the stunning new Scope Corks available in test curves to suit floater work, barbel, chub, commercial bagging work and all manner or other applications Scope can truly be whatever what you want it to be.

Bringing improved sensitivity, accuracy and heightened performance Scope is the only true innovation in rods for decades. Join the short rod revolution.

The softer side of Scope. Truly versatile, go anywhere tools, these Scope Cork 1.75lb models bring the classic Avon rod versatility bang up to date. Equally at home casting spinners and spoons for perch to flicking freelined baits at small river chub or casting feeders for bream and tench yet they retain the power for bagging small carp on commercials and even float fishing and surface work for bigger carp. Optimum range 0-60 yards/55 metres with leads of 1-2 oz.

Another classic all-rounder with the emphasis on a progressive player's action but with increased power in the butt, making the 2.25lb Scope the choice for barbel in bigger flows, and Method feeder work for tench, bream and carp. A brilliant tool for floater work, one that since the earliest sample stages has needed almost surgically removing from Alan Blair. Optimum range 0-70 yards/65 metres with leads of 2-2.5 oz.

Great open water rods, performing best up to 70 yards/metres, with leads of 2-3oz. Ideal for small pools, medium sized lakes or rivers and canals their progressive action makes it a pleasure to play carp but with reserve power in the butt for increased control when the pressure is on.

Handling heavier leads to 3.5 oz and with a more pronounced tip action for incredible accuracy up to 100 yards/metres the 3 lb Scope copes with larger lakes, gravel pits and rivers, with uprated mid-section power for bigger carp and more demanding situations.

The choice for big pits, reservoirs or extreme rivers. Performing with leads of 3-4oz, at casting ranges up to 150 yards/metres the 3.5 lb Scope makes a great tool for distance PVA bag work or boating baits out. Kevin Nash has used these with great success at over 300 metres, yet the forgiving tip ensures playing fish at close range remains a pleasure.

An unashamed extreme Scope, only for the hardcore. Capable of tackling monster carp in the most challenging venues around the world. Handles leads of 4-5oz, at ranges unlimited! A brilliant compact spod rod, and during testing Kevin Nash discovered the feel through a 9ft Scope was acutely enhanced compared to a traditional 12ft marker rod which dampens the lead signal. A 9ft 4.5 lb Scope will bring a new dimension to understanding lakebed features. Don’t just think carp – this animal will handle anything from catfish to bass, to tope and small sharks.

Feedback from a customer:

I've been using the Nash Scope 10ft 2.75lbs Rods since they came out, before I had the Scopes I was drawn between them and the Dwarfs, but after looking at both and comparing with my friends set, I found that the Scopes had a far superior blank and had a crisper action whilst casting and playing fish. A lot of people can be put off by the Scopes or the Dwarfs because they are not the traditional 12ft or 13ft rods and they believe that these rods don't have the same power in them when it comes to casting and playing fish but having used the Nash Scope MK1's I've never thought about upgrading them to the MK2's because they do the job with everything I want them to do, whether it be; stalking in a snaggy area, casting to a nearby island at 80 yards or playing colossal fish right under your feet. They seriously are a cracking rod.

Secondly, because of the telescopic part in the rod they pack down smaller than a standard 10ft rod to around 4ft. This makes storing my rods much easier, by not having 6ft bags in my car or my garage and making it easy to carry them all around the lake. The storing system that I use is the Nash Scope RT pack ( this bag helps me store 3 packed down 9ft or 10ft Scope Rods and has more room for my tackle that I need to take with me, the RT Pack fits perfectly in the boot of my car and makes it so much easier for a days fishing as you can fit the majority of things in there. Also, it has two carry handles to lift it in and out the car or onto the barrow. To me one of the best storing products for the Nash Scope Rods.
