Nash Scope Rods Abbreviated
Since the launch of the highly successful, Nash Scope range, Nash has noticed a change in trends to heavier leads and PVA tactics. Also a lot of anglers are now using scopes on extreme natural venues where there could be fast flowing water and the use of up to 6 ounce gripper leads on a drop of system. Not forgetting those that have swapped over to the shorter retractable rods like Scope and Dwarf for ease when using boats to place your bait or to chase your quarry to land it.
So with this in mind Nash have upped the anti by adding more powerful test curves to the range..
The Scope Abbreviated models now come in 3lb, also the newly added 3.25lb, 3.5lb SU (Stepped Up) and a 4.5lb which can double as a Spod Rod.
The 3.5lb and the 4.5lb give you a greater scope for chasing those larger carp, not only in lakes but fast flowing rivers, due to the extra back bone in the blank. Also the stronger test curves come into their own on heavily weeded and snaggy waters, aiding the angler to keep on top of the battle. Also these stronger test curves can handle leads up to 6oz and large PVA bags, helping reach those longer distances.
The new abbreviated scope rods are built using a high quality Carbon matte black, with a 1K weave. Tournament style reverse Minima guides that start with a 40mm butt ring up to an Anti-Frap tip guide to help prevent those frap-ups on the cast. All guides are whipped on with matte black whipping, even the carbon line clip. The rods also boast a genuine Fuji reel seat and a laser etched butt cap with a cut out slot for an isotope.
9ft Scope Rods pack down to 44 inches (112cm) and 10ft scope rods pack down to 50 inches (127cm)
There is also a Six foot Scope Sawn Off model that retracts to 29 inches (73cm)
