Additionally, a 2m tapering section leads down to your chosen mainline diameter. The line is identical at both ends, so in case of a cut-off, you can reverse the line on your spool and reuse it.

This tapered mainline has the same properties as the Long Chuck mainline, with ultra-low stretch to help compress the rod, low water absorption, lightweight for its breaking strain, and a high breaking strain to diameter ratio to minimize drag.
